The running of equestrian events relies heavily on volunteers. The Interschool Championships volunteers include numerous parents and other supporters and all sorts of jobs are available.

We are grateful to all those who make this event possible. Our volunteers are crucial to the event running on schedule and they provide a fantastic experience for the riders.

Many of our helpers are experienced, others are not. Be sure to ask for assistance if you are unsure of what to do. To keep the event on time, helpers need to report to Amy, our Volunteer Coordinator in the Event Office 15 minutes before your scheduled duty.

If you are unable to fulfill your duty you need to find a replacement and advise Amy.

 Jobs will be allocated on a FIRST IN BEST DRESSED scenario. 

  • If you have paid the volunteer fee you do not need to respond, otherwise every rider must have a person volunteer to complete a job.

  • One of the conditions of entry is that every rider must supply a volunteer. Running this event  takes enormous manpower and relies heavily on volunteers, if you are unsure what the job involves please ask. Please communicate all volunteer queries or requests to Amy Rush, our Volunteer Coordinator at evisvolunteers@gmail.com.
  • We also have available a number of paid volunteer jobs available, if you know someone that would like to assist and is available for a minimum of a half day, please have them contact Amy Rush via email.
