Horse Trial competitions involve a Dressage Test, a Showjumping Round and a Cross Country component. All competitions must run under EA National Rules or International FEI Rules. There is only one specific Interschool Event (Tintern Horse Trials). Interschool riders enter open Horse Trial Events.
Currently, there are four National Team Eventing places, available at a number of levels, which are determined through the submission of a rider’s best performance between October and June of the following year.
